The appointment takes about 1-2 hours. We'll clean and prepare each tooth, bond the brackets, and thread the initial wire. You'll feel pressure but no pain during the process.

Your teeth will likely feel tender for 3-5 days as they begin to move. Over-the-counter pain relievers, soft foods, and orthodontic wax (if needed) make this period very manageable.
