A driver's license or other government-issued ID for our records.

Completed Forms

If you did not complete them online, we will have paper forms available at the office.

Referral Letter

If your dentist referred you, please bring any x-rays or referral notes they provided.

Your Appointment, Step by Step

Here is how we will spend your 60-75 minutes with us

What to Expect from Us

Our commitment to making your experience positive and stress-free

No Pressure, No Rush

This is your consultation. We are here to listen, assess, and educate—not to pressure you into anything. Take your time, ask questions, and make the decision that is right for you and your family.

Honest Assessment

If treatment is not needed right now, Dr. Oliver will tell you. Some patients are ready to start, some need to wait, and some do not need orthodontics at all. We will always give you a straight answer.

Clear Communication

We explain everything in plain language. No confusing jargon, no hidden fees, no surprises. You will leave understanding your case, your options, and the cost.

Comfortable Environment

Our office is designed to be welcoming and stress-free. From the moment you walk in, you will feel at ease. We want this to be a positive experience for you or your child.

Common Questions About Your First Visit

How long does the first visit take?

Plan for about 60-75 minutes. This gives us time to complete all records, examine your teeth, discuss treatment options, and answer all your questions without feeling rushed.

Will I leave with a treatment plan?

Yes, in most cases. Dr. Oliver will discuss your treatment options, estimated timeline, and cost during your visit. If you need time to think it over, that is completely fine—we will never pressure you.

Can I start treatment the same day?

In some cases, yes. If you are ready to move forward and we have availability, we can sometimes place braces or begin invisalign treatment on the same day as your consultation. Just let us know if you are interested in starting right away.

What if I have more questions after the appointment?

You can always call, text, or email us. We are happy to answer follow-up questions, schedule another appointment, or provide additional information. Your decision should feel confident and informed.

Should parents attend with their child?

Absolutely. For patients under 18, we require a parent or guardian to attend the consultation. This ensures everyone hears the same information and can ask questions together.
